Recruitment and Promotion Rules 2023 Junior Clerk BPS-11 Punjab
On February 7, 2023, the Punjab government’s Services and General Administration Department (Regulations Wing) issued a notification regarding the revisions to the Junior Clerk BPS-11 Recruitment and Promotion Rules.

In the exercise of the authority granted by section 23 of the Punjab Civil Service Act of 1974 (VIII of 1974) and as a replacement for the notification with number In accordance with SOR-III-2-28/90, dated May 25, 1993, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to direct that the method of recruitment for the position of Junior Clerk (BS-11) shall not be changed.
Twenty percent (20%) of the Junior Clerks BS-11 positions will be filled by promotion from among employees of all categories, from BS-1 to BS-8, employed in the respective office, department, or functional unit who are otherwise eligible for appointment to the position, as stipulated in the respective service/requirement rules of various departments in Punjab. If none are available for promotion, initial recruitment will be used instead.
