You can get Jazz Tax Certificates in three steps, through WhatsApp, Jazz World App, or SMS. Here’s how you can get your Jazz Tax Certificate through each of these:
Step 1: Getting Jazz Tax Certificate by the Simosa App
- Download the Simosa App from the Google Play Store and register.
- Tap the “Tax Certificate” on the downside of the home page.
- Choose the year for which you need the Tax Certificate.
- Your Jazz Tax Certificate will be downloaded instantly in PDF.
Step 2: Getting Jazz Tax Certificate by WhatsApp
- Open WhatsApp type “Hi” or “Hello” and send it to 0300-3008000.
- You will receive a reply asking for the services you need. Choose Tax Certificate (number 7) and reply with “7.”
- Your annual tax certificates will be sent to you in a few minutes.
- You can also use this WhatsApp service to get information on your current billing amount, balance, usage details, existing package, last month’s invoice, call and recharge history, and other useful services.
Step 3: Getting Jazz Tax Certificate via SMS
- For Prepaid users, dial *444# and follow the instructions (Press the relevant serial No of the Tax certificate)
- For Postpaid users, dial *446# and follow the instructions (Press the relevant serial No of the Tax certificate)
How to Declare Jazz Tax in the Income Tax Return
To declare and claim the tax you have paid, go to the IRIS website. Then go to “Adjustable Tax” and add this tax in the “Cellphone Bill u/s 236(1)(a)” head. Add your total bill and total tax deduction and press calculate.
