آل انڈیا مسلم لیگ کا سالانہ اجلاس شہر الہ آباد میں 1930 میں منعقد ہوا اس اجلاس کی صدارت شاعر مشرق ڈاکٹر سر محمد اقبال نے کی۔
انہی دنوں لندن میں گول میز کانفرنس کا اجلاس بھی ہو رہا تھا۔ علامہ صاحب کے علاوہ مسلم لیگ کے تمام اہم راہنما گول میز کانفرنس میں شرکت کے لیے لندن گئے ہوئے تھےبرصغیر کے عوام گول میز کانفرنس کوزیادہ اہمیت نہیں دے رہے تھے اورآلہٰ آباد کااجلاس زیادہ توجہ کا مرکز بن سکا۔
لیکن علامہ صاحب نے اپنے صدارتی خطبہ میں برصغیر کے آئینی سیاسی اور ہندو مسلم عوامی مسائل کا ایسا حل پیش کردیا جو بعد ازاں قیام پاکستان کی بنیاد بن گیا انہوں نے اپنی بصیرت افروز خطبے میں مسلمانوں کو ان کی منزل کا پتہ دیا اور فرمایا کہ برصغیر کے شمال مغرب میں مسلم اکثریت والے علاقوں پر مشتمل ایک علیحدہ ریاست کا درجہ دے دیا جائے یعنی پنجاب سندھ سرحد بلوچستان اور کشمیر کو ملاکر ایک مسلم مملکت کا قیام عمل میں لایا جائے۔
اپنے نظریہ کی حمائت میں دلائل دیتے ہوئے علامہ اقبال نے فرمایا کہ۔
اسلام ایک مکمل ضابطہ حیات ہے انسانوں کے سیاسی معاشرتی معاشی ثقافتی اور دیگر مسائل کا مکمل حل فراہم کرتا ہے برصغیر کے شمال مغرب میں اسلامی مملکت کا قیام عمل میں آئے گا اسلام کا نظام پوری طرح رائج کرنے کا موقع ملے گا مسلمان روایات تمدن اور ضابطہ قوانین کے تحت اپنی زندگی اپنی مرضی سے بسر کر سکیں۔
برصغیر کے مسلمان ایک علیحدہ وقم ہیں گے اوربرصغیر میں کم از کم دو قومیں بستی ہیں اور مسلمانوں کا حق ہے کہ ان علاقوں میں وہ اپنا نظام قائم کریں جہاں وہ اکثریت میں ہیں یوں علامہ اقبال نے دو قومی نظریہ کو مسلم مملکت کے قیام کی بنیاد قرار دیا۔
ہندوستان ایک ملک نہیں بلکہ برصغیر ہے۔ اور اس برصغیر کے مخلتف علاقوں میں رہنے والے عوام کو اپنی پسند کے مطابق سیاسی نظام بنانے کا حق ہے۔
مسلم ممالک کو مسلمان کے قیام کی افادیت بیان کرتے ہوئے کہا گیا کہ شمال مغرب میں اس کا وجود ہندوستان کے دفاع کے لیے مضبوط ثابت ہوگا۔ شمال مغربی دروں سے آنے والے حملہ اوروں کی راہ میں ایک مضبوط ملک حائل رہے گا۔
خطبہ الہٰ آباد نے قائد اعظم کو متاثر کیا رفتہ رفتہ یہ سوچ عام ہوتی گئی اور 1940 میں لاہور کی تاریخی قرارداد میں علیحدہ مسلم مملکت کا مطالبہ کر دیا گیا۔ یاد رہے کہ قرداد لاہور میں بر صغیر کے شمال مغربی علاقوں کے علاوہ شمال مشرقی علاقوں کو بھی مسلم مملکت میں شامل کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا گیا تھا۔

The annual meeting of the All India Muslim League was held in Allahabad city in 1930. The meeting was chaired by the poet, Dr. Sir Muhammad Iqbal.
A round table conference was also being held in London that day. Apart from Allama Sahib, all the prominent leaders of the Muslim League went to London to attend the Round Table Conference. The people of the subcontinent were not giving much importance to the Round Table Conference and the meeting of Allahabad became the focus of attention.
But Allama Sahib, in his presidential address, proposed a solution to the constitutional political and Hindu Muslim public issues of the subcontinent, which later became the basis of Pakistan’s establishment. In his address, he addressed the Muslims in their address and said that In the northwest of the state, a separate state comprising Muslim-majority areas should be given, namely, the creation of a Muslim state by joining the Sindh-Balochistan and Kashmir-Punjab border.

The Muslims of the subcontinent will be a separate region and there are at least two nations living in the subcontinent and Muslims have the right to establish their own system in the areas where they are in the majority. Declared.

The Khutba-e-Allahabad influenced Quaid-e-Azam gradually became commonplace and in 1940, a landmark resolution of Lahore demanded a separate Muslim state. It should be remembered that in the northwestern areas of the subcontinent besides the northeastern regions of the subcontinent Lahore, there was a demand for inclusion in the Muslim state.
