Eligibility of MS, M.Phil Allowance For KPK MS Degree Holders, in Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education, Department has issued a notification no. SO (CE&MS) / 1-3 /2015 /376 letter on 28-11-2019 in connection with Admissibility/eligibility of MS and M.Phil Allowance for KPK MS Degree Holders. The detail has some of the following points as under:
Earlier, the Subject allowance was denied to the employees of the Higher Education Department Holding MS Degree on the plea that MS was not equivalent to M.Phil. Consequently, the court in his judgment in the writ petition no. 2243-P dated 07.02.2018 directed the heads of the departments of those employees to grant them the MS allowance on the grounds and by declaring that MS is equal to M.Phil.
So as per the judgment, and in compliance with the judgment of Peshawar High Court, M.Phil allowance may kindly be granted to the employees of HEC holding MS degree.
