High Court Orders for the Clinical Lab Tests of the Staff of District Judiciary

The Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Lahore today orders for the conduct of clinical lab tests of all the staff at District Judiciary. The registrar Lahore High Court, Lahore directed all the District & Sessions Judges in Punjab that all the working staff under their control be directed to have their clinical lab tests of Hepatitis, T.B. AIDS, Blood, Urine (complete test), Chest, and X-Ray performed from the lab of DHQ/THQ hospitals within 15 days, so as to analyze their physical condition.

The Registrar through order No.16754/6-E(LCE)/VII.A.(27)f. dated 14.08.2018, also directed all the DSJs to pursue these clinical tests within the specified time.

The sources told that this step from the High Court is taken so that if a District Judiciary staff found positive in these tests then his complete medical expenses may be carried by the High Court, Lahore, or might be some part of the expenses be carried out by the High Court.

Meanwhile, at District Level, All the Sessions Judges of Punjab established the Medical Committee which will collect the funds from all the staff of a specified District so that when a staff member needs funds for his or her treatment these funds should be utilized.

According to me, if these steps will be accomplished then it will consider a bright step in the History of the Judiciary of Pakistan.
