PART-I: CONTRACT ACT

Q1. Describe different kinds of contracts according to enforceability. Enumerate the legal effects of these contracts on the contractual obligations of parties.

Q2. How the communication of offer, communication of acceptance, and communication of revocation is completed? Discuss in the lights of sections 4 and 5 of the Contract Act.

Q3. According to section 25 of the Contract Act “Agreement without consideration void, unless it is in writing and registered or is a promise to compensate for something done, or is a promise to pay a debt barred by limitation law.’ Interpret the statement in light of the exceptions to the consideration.

Q4. What is a Quasi-contract? in which circumstances? Quasi-contract was created. Elaborate with reference to different provisions of the Law of Contract.

Q5. What do you understand by the term “discharge of contract?” Discuss with special reference to discharge through modes of operation of law and through agreement.

Q6. Give a brief note on a Contract of Indemnity and a Contract of Guarantee. Also, differentiate between the two.

Q7. Explain in the light of relevant provisions of law, the duties of a bailor and bailee.

Q8. Enumerate the agreements which are expressly declared void with exceptions.

PART II: SALE OF GOODS ACT

Q9. Discuss the rules relating to the performance of a contract of “Sale of Goods.”

Q10. Differentiate between the following:

  1. Sale and Agreement to sell
  2. Conditions and warranties
