The government of Punjab amended the upper age limit for the government jobs. The Age Relaxation Notification Punjab Government 2021 has been issued. The Punjab government has allowed a relaxation of up to 15 years in the upper age limit to all the disabled persons applying for the vacancies in government departments of Punjab.
Previously, the upper age limit relaxation was 10 years. The Punjab government amended the Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper age Limit) Rules, 1976, in rule 3, in clause VI, for the figure “10” the figure “15” shall be substituted.
Now through this amendment the upper age limit for the government job will be relaxed by 15 years.
