It is the duty of the electricity company to inform or give notice to the consumer about the upcoming load shedding in the particular area before shutting down the grid station.

Without giving prior notice it is illegal. WAPDA or any other Company if do this for more than a whole day or 24 hours then a case may be filed against the company in the court. And before doing that the petitioner must give notice to the particular company in this regard.

This is the pure legal way to deal with such type of load shedding and we should encourage our people in town and villages about the legal rules and regulation.
